What is the USA talent pool?
It is the list of inspectors USA can call when a member company needs coverage. You join once. USA recruits on behalf of more than 20 inspection companies.
Who should join?
Inspectors who can complete insurance surveys and want work through USA member companies. Loss Control Academy graduates and people enrolled in LCA can join. Uncertified people can join too. Certified inspectors get placed faster.
Does joining cost anything?
No. There is no fee to join the talent pool on this site.
Does USA hire me?
No. USA recruits. The inspection company that needs the work decides whether to contract or hire you.
Do I need an LCA designation?
You can join without one. Certified inspectors get placed faster. Inspectors take Loss Control Academy training and certification, and member companies already know what the LCA course covers.
How does placement work?
You submit the form and USA matches you to member-company demand. USA reviews your surveys, state, and certification. When a member company needs someone who matches, USA contacts you. The company runs its own screening and trainer review.
Will I get work if I join?
Work depends on local demand, the surveys you can do, and the company's own approval.
Where do I see current openings?
On the latest openings page and on InspectorCareers.com. This site lists the newest USA openings from the public jobs feed.
What survey types can I list?
Residential exterior, residential interior/exterior, high value, commercial, workers compensation, premium audit, and other.
Who runs RecruitInspectors?
SpotRisk, Inc. operates Recruit Inspectors. Underwriter Services Association handles recruiting.
I hire inspectors. Can I post jobs here?
No. This site is for inspectors. USA handles employer-facing recruiting.
Who sees the information I submit?
USA does. It uses the form to contact you about openings and to match you with member companies. See the privacy page for the fields we collect.
